More about our Speakers:

Christina Caraballo: Christina lives her passion for health advocacy through her work every day. At Get Real Health, she specializes in government strategy, serves as the company’s resident expert and liaison to the health IT industry, and consults with clients on how to best meet regulatory requirements. Her deep understanding of the industry make Christina an integral part of the business development, marketing and product strategy teams. Christina is active in initiatives that strive to increase the adoption of health IT, interoperability, access to health information and patient engagement. For example, she serves on the HIMSS Connected Health Committee, the National Association for Trusted Exchange’s Board of Directors, and the Federal Advisory Committee’s 2017 Interoperability Standards Advisory Task Force. Christina was one of seven inaugural recipients of HIMSS’ Most Influential Women in HIT Award. Christina holds a Bachelor’s in Communications from Penn State, a MBA with a focus in Health Management and Leadership from George Washington University, and an ONC Graduate Certificate in HIT from George Washington University.

Andy Payne: Andy is a recognized expert in the field of Patient Engagement and Personal Health Records (PHR), advising national and local health and care providers on their citizen engagement strategies. He is author of the NHS England PHR Interoperability Handbook and has been winning, designing and delivering digital health solutions for large healthcare customers and governments across Europe for over 8 years. Andy has successfully won deals ranging from multi-million national solutions through to individual NHS trust solutions, managed their successful delivery by multi-disciplinary geographically diverse teams and worked with CIOs to deliver lighthouse personal health and digital health projects on multiple technology platforms. Andy has over 20 years of experience in delivering heterogeneous technology solutions for customer engagements in Healthcare, Telecoms, Media, Manufacturing and Public Sector markets (amongst others).

Kevin Hamer: Kevin is an IT Development Service Manager at University of Southampton NHS Foundation Trust where he has the ability to apply thoughtful analysis coupled with a pragmatic approach.  He is responsible for every aspect in successful implementation of award winning patient online project, My medical record, translating clinical and business requirements into a functional online service.  Kevin works with staff at all levels of the organisation and manages key relationships with suppliers.  He is a ITIL v3 expert with over 20 years of experience in IT and over 15 years experience in a service development capacity.  He has considerable experience in problem solving complex challenging issues with a consistent record of results.  Always open to new ideas, technology and ways of working, Kevin sees the benefit in continual improvement with a clear focus on outcomes and benefit.
