Sixteen Days…that’s right.
In roughly two weeks, Get Real Health can create a solution that addresses the ever-changing needs of healthcare providers. Even during a pandemic.
Last April as the coronavirus gripped the world, our team saw the need for a flexible, secure telehealth solution. A few weeks later, it was rolled out to clients as an add-on service or stand alone solution.
“I have never been more proud of our employees as I was in those early days of the pandemic, said President, Robin Wiener. “As many of our family members were consulting with doctors using software normally reserved for meetings and workplace needs, we immediately recognized the gaps in privacy and security within these platforms. Within a matter of days, we had introduced a completely HIPAA compliant platform for our clients. All performed by our team developing and testing remotely.”
This ability to pivot did not go unnoticed.
Get Real Health was chosen to participate in the Maryland Business Adapts 20/21 Initiative This initiative celebrates the resilience of small Maryland companies during the pandemic and showcases how they minimized risks to their global operations or prepared for sudden global operational changes.
“I think that a global pandemic requires a global response,” said Wiener. “Telehealth is not an American need but a worldwide one. Our staff managed to give demonstrations and meet with clients in international time zones – all while juggling home-schooling children and working from the confines of home.”
Now that the pandemic is waning, Get Real Health continues to be at the forefront of burgeoning technology surrounding vaccine validation. We have recently been named as part of the Common Trust Network and the Vaccine Credential Initiative, both committed to giving individuals access to vaccine credentials, anytime and anywhere.
And again, in a matter of weeks, we had a prototype ready to demonstrate around the world.
“The speed with which we developed the functionality to support vaccination validation needs using the digital SMART health card standards is staggering,” said Wiener. “This flexibility and innovation is only possible due to the strength of our base platform and the talent of our team.”
Wiener continues, “We anticipate vaccine validation will become a normal component to travel documents, education paperwork and our lives moving forward. We are honored to further this initiative to put people in charge of their medical records – including vaccinations – and have that data in the palm of their hand.”
We will be holding a webinar on June 2nd at 9:30 AM ET with a live demonstration of our vaccination verification solution. Sign up here >
