Get Real Health participating in Maryland business delegation to showcase its patient engagement technology at the world’s largest medical trade show.
ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND (PRWEB) NOVEMBER 10, 2016
Rockville-based health IT company Get Real Health will be part of a delegation of Maryland companies headed to Dusseldorf, Germany, November 14–17, to exhibit at the MEDICA conference, the world’s largest medical trade show. Get Real Health — one of 10 firms attending with the Maryland Department of Commerce — will showcase its flagship products, InstantPHR® and CHBase™ in Hall 16, booth C18.
The conference focuses on topics critical to the healthcare industry, and serves as an excellent international platform for Maryland companies to share their work with a global audience.
“InstantPHR and CHBase are designed to seamlessly integrate healthcare and technology, so we see MEDICA as the perfect opportunity to spread the word about this platform worldwide,” said Robin Wiener, president and founding partner at Get Real Health. More than 130,000 people from 120+ countries are expected to attend the conference.
InstantPHR has already established an international presence, with hospital systems and healthcare providers in the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada using the product. Get Real Health’s products easily adapt to an international market by supporting multiple languages and integrating with any healthcare-related technology.
“As the world’s largest medical tradeshow, MEDICA gives the state of Maryland a great opportunity to show off our companies and the role they play in global health,” said Maryland Commerce Secretary Mike Gill. “We are excited that Get Real Health will once again join the Commerce team for the overseas conference.”
Being part of the MEDICA conference is an extension of Get Real Health’s relationships with Maryland Commerce and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Both agencies have turned to Get Real Health for subject-matter expertise regarding health information technology and consumer engagement in the U.S. and global markets. The company’s success exporting its product as a small business and its industry-wide recognition as a leading patient engagement solution have also helped Get Real Health become a key player on the international health IT stage.
“We are thrilled to return to Germany and exhibit at MEDICA along with other innovative Maryland companies in the Maryland Department of Commerce booth,” said Wiener. “It’s a great opportunity to help showcase why Maryland is such a great environment for international business, while spotlighting our latest healthcare information technology offerings.”
