The 11th Annual Connected Health Conference may have wrapped up, but our Get Real Health team found that the take-aways have true staying power.
Billed as the place to see “practical technologies that empower and improve health for people, patients, and consumers,” the event did not disappoint.
“There was just this buzz in the air centered on giving patients better access to all their data in one place,” said Jennifer Bowers, our Director of Clinical Solutions. “It was incredibly gratifying to be among so many like-minded industry professionals.
The conference, held in Boston October 16th-18th, attracted an array of Keynote speakers from organizations such as Microsoft, the ONC, Aetna and HIMSS. As an exhibitor, Get Real Health had the opportunity to “meet with potential partners focused on making interoperability a reality,” explained Bowers.
Our team, including Genie Saleh our Director of Global Business, were thrilled to demo Get Real Health products to attendees and found “a cooperative spirit among vendors and organizations to work together to achieve overarching goals of patient empowerment,” said Saleh.
“As a company that has been on the ground floor of patient engagement, it is gratifying to see this shift in the mindset of the entire industry,” says Get Real Health CEO, Robin Wiener. “Interoperability and engagement are now at the forefront of the legislative and product development arena and we are excited to see what the future holds.”
