Helping Patients Weather Any Storm

January 27, 2016Christina Nash

IPHR_MobileWhen Mother Nature strikes, the devastating effects can be felt long after the storm has passed. Whether a hurricane, tornado, tsunami or blizzard like the one that rocked the North East over the weekend, damage extends beyond what you see on the news.

Those managing chronic conditions are often the most effected by harsh weather. For instance, a patient with a weekly appointment to monitor their condition is trapped in his home for days due to snow.  He becomes anxious about his health and the delay of his check-up which only heightens his medical issues.

The creation of our InstantPHR product was rooted in situations just like the one described above. The ability to securely communicate with your physician and share symptoms and readings allows for care outside facility walls.

In any weather and in any circumstances.

InstantPHR offers action plans that can be updated in anticipation of a change in routine or as needed once a circumstance arises. Doctors simply don’t have the time or staff to personally consult with each patient, so InstantPHR is the next best thing.

With all medications and conditions listed in one place, physicians can easily call in prescriptions without being in the office as well.

Even if patients lose power, the InstantPHR mobile app lets them stay in touch and on track. The same access is available for authorized family members who may be monitoring a loved one’s progress from afar.

Moreover, because of the way data and records are stored; their safety is never in question. All information in an InstantPHR account lives in the Cloud when the internet, phones service or power temporarily dies.  Our secure platform ensures that data is waiting when access is restored.

Thanks to InstantPHR wellness is a 24/7 proposition no matter the weather conditions.
