The 6th Annual Health 2.0 Fall Conference in San Francisco will kick-off Sunday, October 7, and Get Real Healthcare Strategist Christina Caraballo will be there for all the action. “Health 2.0 is something that Get Real looks forward to every year. It is such an exciting time for health IT with the industry’s increasing consumer focus,” Caraballo said.
The four-day conference will feature in-depth discussions and presentations about the latest technologies in Health 2.0. Scheduled speakers include Margaret Law of the California HealthCare Foundation, Brian Cusack of Google and Lacey Hart of the Mayo Clinic. Caraballo is looking forward to attending one event in particular.
“I’m really excited to hear the panel on the future of personalized health. Aligning health technology with the user is so important,” Caraballo said.
Get Real is also eager to see the winners of the Blue Button Mash Up Challenge. The event strives to execute current government initiatives that empower patients and providers with data-based engagement tools. Through the Blue Button Mash Up Challenge, developers demonstrated how veterans can not only have their data, but also become full partners in their own care through different HIT interfaces.
With numerous seminars, leading health and tech-industry speakers, and countless demonstrations, the conference is sure to make an impression on attendees. The valuable information presented will enable healthcare professionals and patients to embrace new, effective technology and the services it can provide, with Get Real firmly planted on the cutting edge.
