The state of healthcare technology in the United Kingdom has been in a state of flux for several years. Luckily, Get Real Health’s Manager of European Operations Andy Payne tells us, information sharing is on the upswing.
South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, which provides the widest range of NHS mental health services in the United Kingdom, including substance misuse services for people who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol; and University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, which provides care to more than 3 million people in central southern England and the Channel Islands, are working with Get Real Health to help patients and their providers manage their health though online health records.
A major goal in the UK is to provide general practitioners with the ability to communicate with their patients electronically by 2015. Get Real Health is pleased to be part of the innovation that’s happening in the UK.
